B1A4′s Jinyoung reveals he swallowed a large nail as a child

B1A4’s Jinyoung revealed that he swallowed a large nail as a child.

On KBS Joy’s “B1A4’s Hello Baby”, B1A4 was given a chance to educate the children on safety in order to check each member’s qualifications as a father.

Jinyoung, who was in charge of food safety, stated, “I swallowed a large nail when I was a child.” He explained that his mother was able to get the nail out before it completely passed through his throat. Because of his traumatizing experience, he stressed the importance of teaching children what is safe and unsafe to eat.

The next episode of “B1A4’s Hello Baby” will air on the 14th at 7:10PM KST.

INFINITE’s third single “She’s Back” event in Japan attracts 10,000 fans

INFINITE recently held a successful special mini-concert event in Japan for the release of their third single, “She’s Back”.

The event was held on September 2nd at the Yokohama Akarenga event centre and attracted 10,000 fans. INFINITE performed a total of six songs, opening the stage with their new single “She’s Back” and then transitioning into the “That Summer”, Japanese versions of “Come Back Again” and ”Before the Dawn (BTD)”, and more.

The behind-the-scenes footage of the Japanese music video for “She’s Back” was also played, giving fans a chance to see the members enjoying their time at Jeju island. The fans had also planned surprise birthday cakes for Sungjong and Sungyeol, and sang “Happy Birthday” in Korean for the two members.

INFINITE performed “The Chaser” as an encore stage and stated, “We really wanted to meet [our Japanese fans]. You have no idea how happy we are. We will work even harder!” After the mini-concert the members had a high-five event with the lucky 3,000 fans.

In related news, the group will begin their ‘2012 Infinite Arena Tour in Japan’ on October 27th and perform in various cities around Japan.

INFINITE postpones the release date of 3D movie, ‘2012 INFINITE Concert 3D’

The release date of INFINITE‘s 3D movie ‘2012 INFINITE Concert 3D’, which was initially scheduled to release on September 6th, has unfortunately been postponed to a later date.

A representative of Golden Tide Pictures revealed, “The release date for the movie has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances. We will make an announcement again once a date has been finalized.”

Meanwhile, the 3D movie will feature the ‘Second Invasion’ encore concert, filmed with over 30 cameras to help complete the project. The encore concert was opened in April due to the success of INFINITE’s original concert, held this past February, which sold out in just 10 minutes.

Fans can look forward to a high-quality, high-definition movie that will accentuate all of the great qualities the boys have to offer, especially their extremely synchronized choreography and lovely ballad pieces. The movie will also include the individual solo performances that the members prepared for the concert, all in 3D.

INFINITE’s L confirmed for role in upcoming sitcom, ‘What Is Mom’

Last month, it was reported that INFINITE’s L was being considered for a role in the sitcom ‘What Is Mom’, and just recently it was confirmed that the singer will indeed be joining the cast.

According to a statement made by an MBC representative on the 3rd, L will be joining Na Moon Hee, Park Mi Sun, Kim Sae Ron, and other already confirmed cast members for his first role in a sitcom.

The INFINITE member has built up previous acting experience with his appearance in the Japanese Drama ‘Jiu’ followed by his role in tvN‘s ‘Shut Up Flower Boy Band’ which he took on earlier this year.

By taking on this role in his first ever sitcom, the singer plans to broaden his acting experience.

Catch the first episode of ‘What Is Mom’ scheduled to air on October 8th, following the end of the sitcom ‘Standby’.

‘Reply 1997’ releases still cuts of Hoya and Seo In Guk dressed up as doctors

‘Reply 1997’ revealed still cuts of INFINITE’s Hoya and Seo In Guk dressed up as doctors on set.

The cuts, revealed on August 31st, feature Hoya smiling brightly in character as a doctor, capturing the hearts of fans. Seo In Guk is also seen in one of the photos for he decided to try on Hoya’s gown for himself even though his character isn’t a doctor in the drama.

Hoya’s character, Junhee, is said to have done extremely well in high school and matriculated into Seoul National University, the top university in Korea. It was revealed that in 2012 in the drama, Junhee is now a successful surgeon, explaining the doctor gown.

The next episode of ‘Reply 1997’ will air on September 4th!

Seo In Guk picks INFINITE’s Hoya over A Pink’s Eunji?

Seo In Guk revealed that he wants his character in tvN sitcom ‘Reply 1997’ to be with INFINITE member Hoya’s character, instead of A Pink’s Eunji’s character, much to the delight of many Yunjae and Junhee shippers.

On August 30th, he tweeted, “Yunjae (himself in the sitcom), what’s so good about Siwon? Yunjae is a dummy… For me, Yunjae Junhee… that’s all I’m going to say… Junhee. Heeng”.

Seo In Guk is referring to the recent turn of events that have folded out in ‘Reply 1997’, after his character, Yunjae, confesses to Eunji’s character, Siwon, who he has been crushing on for several years.

Seo In Guk spoke to his character on his Twitter, cutely choosing Junhee (Hoya) over Siwon (Eunji), as Junhee has also been harboring feelings for Yunjae.

MBLAQ members compare Mir to a centaur on ‘All the K-Pop’

MBLAQ’s Mir has been ratted out by the other members to frequently walk around completely naked in the group’s dorm.

Mir, who is one of the MCs of MBC’s  ‘All the K-Pop’, was put in an embarrassing situation when his fellow members joined him on the show as guests and revealed his secrets.

The MBLAQ members made and appearance on the “Idol Lyricism” segment, and revealed the members they didn’t want to share rooms with. It was the soft-spoken Thunder who remarked, “It makes me uncomfortable sharing a room with maknae Mir. While we were overseas for a performance, I had to share a room with him. I felt so uncomfortable because Mir would sit down with his legs spread open while only wearing his underwear.”

The other members further chimed in saying, “Mir normally never wears anything when inside the dorm. He probably decided to at least put on underwear since it was in front of Thunder,” breaking the studio into laughter.

Mir’s embarrassment didn’t stop there as the members continued, “It’s probably because since he has such a great body, he wants to show it off. His thighs are especially well built, so it’s like his top half is human while the bottom half is like a horse,” comparing Mir to a centaur and once again causing the set to burst into laughs.

Although initially shocked by the members’ comments, Mir soon got over it and confidently showed off his sturdy thighs by rolling up his pants. MC Boom and Park Jae Min then remarked, “You are indeed a centaur” and gave him thumbs up.

Also in this episode, the MBLAQ members were ranked by their chest sizes, which is the symbol of being the “ultimate man”, and also battled for the title of “dancing king” performing dances of groups who were popular in the ’90s such as H.O.T, Sechskies, and Deux.
