Some of the entertaining messages left on the wreaths
included, “Protect your noona! So she doesn’t age anymore! Spending this summer
vacation at the AX hellgates, Noonapirit went all in - INSPIRIT‘s noona fanpage Noonapirit“, and
“Emptied out my pockets trying to chase INFINITE’s ‘That Summer’ – INFINITE
supporters indefinitely.”
INFINITE’s fans had previously sent 9 tons worth of rice
wreaths to their concerts held earlier this month of which they donated 3.63
tons to the Holt’s Children’s Services and the remaining 5.445 tons to the One
Love Disabled Infant Care Center. As 9 tons of rice can feed up to 75,000
children, it can be said that the generous gift of thousands of INSPIRITs fed
nearly 75,000 children.
Furthermore, 2,104 donated coal briquettes were distributed
to 20 or so families through the Gyeongi Welfare Foundation and the Holt
Community Service Center in Daegu.
Thanks to the 2.9 tons of rice donated to the ‘That Summer‘
concert to be held between the 8th to the 12th at Seoul AXKOREA, an estimated
24,000 children will be able to eat one more meal.
In the past, acts of fandom were focused around showering
the artists with various gifts and flowers, however over time the fandom
culture has developed into something more significant and meaningful.
In related news, INFINITE’s ‘That Summer’ concert is said to
be themed around a novel concept and is sure to satisfy its 10,000 eager
audience members.
